InterPsych's main contribution will be the continued espousal of the likelihood of a synergistic effect, leading to new ideas as to the workings of the human brain/mind and the solution to the problem of mental suffering, resulting from the interaction of those engaged in research and clinical practice in psychiatry and clinical psychology, together with those involved in cognitive science, anthropology, philosophy, neuroscience, artificial intelligence and computer science, neurology, etc, in the contect of a multicultural, multimedia environment on the Internet.

In practical terms InterPsych will provide:

International co-ordination

Co-ordination of English speaking groups

Tools such as software, educational material...

Inspiration and direction

Central organization through the IVC

An emphasis on practical creativity

Infrastructure to channel individual talents to meet universal needs
